“Roots of Lansdowne” is a temporary community mural featuring the historic Lansdowne Sycamore and painted squares contributed by residents in response to the prompt “what does Lansdowne mean to you.” The piece celebrates the borough’s collective identity, creativity, and deeply rooted sense of place.
This project was organized by the Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation with major support from the Borough of Lansdowne, the Foundation for Delaware County, and Astound.

In partnership with Lemonade PHL & The Saint Project, I curated the I AM CREATOR/CREATION pop up art exhibit experience for the Juneteenth 2021 celebration. I AM Creator/Creation is a traveling interactive art exhibit and pop up photo installation for guests to interact with the art being showcased in the exhibit and learn more about emerging BIPOC artists and creatives. All art will be created by local Philadelphia artists and creatives to promote a thought-provoking and wholesome experience that will include art, pop culture and history in celebration of Black culture in Philadelphia. This experience is sponsored by Black Hippie Art.
It was such a joy creating this amazing exhibit with local artists, creators & creative entrepreneurs.

Curated by Keyonna Butler, founder of Black Hippie Art, in collaboration with The Arts League, the "Creation in Community" Pop Up show was created as a way to celebrate the Black Hippie Art community as well as BIPOC artists, makers and creators. We wanted to host a pop up salon style gallery show to highlight work from local Philadelphia artists and give them the opportunity to showcase their art and gain a new audience.
